In practice

One place to run the business.

Most of our web apps replace a tangle of spreadsheets and inboxes. This is a store's admin, with orders, sales and fulfilment side by side.

  • Live numbers, not end-of-month exports
  • Roles and permissions for every team
  • Connected to your payments, stock and accounting
  • Built to grow with more users and data
What we build

Five kinds of web app.

Start with the part that costs your team the most time, then grow from there.

Stores with their own admin: orders, stock, customers and fulfilment in one place, built for how you sell.

  • Order management
  • Stock across locations
  • Customer accounts
  • Fulfilment

Ideal forRetailers who have outgrown an off-the-shelf store.

SaaS products

We take your software idea from first sketch to paying customers.

  • Subscriptions and billing
  • Team accounts

Ideal forFounders and companies building subscription software.

Dashboards

Live views of the numbers that matter, all in one place.

  • Sales and stock
  • Operations KPIs

Ideal forTeams that need a clear view of operations and KPIs.

Client portals

A secure place for clients to see documents, track progress and message you.

  • Documents and invoices
  • Progress tracking

Ideal forService businesses with ongoing client work.

Internal tools

Replace spreadsheets and manual steps with tools built for your process.

  • Approvals
  • Scheduling

Ideal forTeams doing the same manual work every week.

Built in

Software you can rely on.

These come with every web app we build.

Secure by default

Sign-in, roles and data protection are designed in from the start, not bolted on.

Ready to grow

Built to handle more users, more data and new features without a rebuild.

Connected to your tools

Payments, accounting, CRM and email work together with your app.

Yours to keep

You own the code, with documentation and a handover your next developer will thank you for.

The Five Points, for web apps

How a web app project runs.

The same five steps as every Baytmal project, shaped for web apps. See The Five Points

  1. 01Discover

We map the work, the people who do it and where time is lost today.

  2. 02Strategize

We agree the first release, what it must do and how we'll measure it.

  3. 03Design

We design the screens and flows with the people who'll use them.

  4. 04Develop

We build in short cycles, so you see working software every two weeks.

  5. 05Launch & Grow

We launch, watch how it's used and plan the next release with you.

Before you ask

Web app questions

How long does a web app take?
It depends on scope. Most first releases take 4 to 16 weeks. You'll get a firm timeline in your proposal.
Who owns the code?
You do. We hand over the code, documentation and accounts at the end of the project.
Can it connect to our existing systems?
If a system has an API or an export, we can usually connect to it. We confirm every connection before we quote.
Can we start small?
Yes, and we recommend it. We help you choose a first release that's useful on its own, then build on it.
What happens after launch?
Our monthly plans cover updates, security patches, monitoring and new features as you need them.
