This policy explains what information Baytmal collects on baytmal.co, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we only collect what you send us, we only use it to talk to you about your project, and we never sell it.

- We use them only to reply to you and to understand the scope of your project.
- We never sell, rent or trade your data, and we don't share it for anyone's marketing.
- You can ask us to see, correct or delete your details at any time.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us:
- Contact form
- Your name and email, your phone number and company if you add them, the services you're interested in, your timeline and your message.
- Quote form
- The same contact details, plus the services and scope you pick, a budget range, a timeline, your country, an optional website link and your project description.
- Call booking
- If you book a call after requesting a quote, the time slot you choose.
- Whatever you include when you write to hello@baytmal.co.
We don't store your IP address with your enquiry, we don't build profiles of visitors, and we don't take payments on this website.
How we use it
We use your details for one purpose: to contact you about your project. That means replying to your message, asking the questions we need to understand the scope, preparing your quote or proposal and arranging a call.
If you become a client, we use them to run your project, under the agreement we sign together.
We don't add you to newsletters or marketing lists, we don't use your details for automated decisions or profiling, and we never sell them.
Cookies and browser storage
This website doesn't set any cookies. It keeps a few small settings in your browser's local storage so the site works the way you left it. They stay on your device and aren't used to track you:
- Language
- The language you chose: English, Arabic or French.
- Theme
- Light, dark or your system setting.
- Region
- The country used to show prices in your currency. Our host, Cloudflare, tells us which country your IP address is in when a page loads; if it can't, we guess from your device's time zone. We don't store your IP address or location, and you can change the region any time.
- Quote draft
- Your answers in the quote form, so you can finish later. It's deleted when you send your request, and you can clear it with Start over or from your browser settings. It only reaches us when you press send.
Who else is involved
We use a small number of service providers to run the website. Each only gets what it needs to do its job:
- Cloudflare
- Hosts the website and our database, and protects our forms from abuse. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and keeps short-lived request logs.
- Resend
- Delivers the email that tells our team you've sent an enquiry. It contains the details you entered in the form.
- Google Fonts
- Your browser downloads the site's fonts from Google, which receives your IP address and browser details as part of that request.
We don't share your details with anyone else, unless the law requires us to.
Where your data is stored
Enquiries are stored in our database on Cloudflare's network, which may process data in more than one country. Only our team in Dubai and Toronto can access them.
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry for as long as we're talking with you about a project. If a project doesn't go ahead, we delete it within 12 months, or sooner if you ask. If you become a client, we keep project records for as long as our agreement and the law require.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to show you the details we hold about you, correct them, delete them or stop contacting you. Email hello@baytmal.co and we'll respond within 30 days.
Laws such as the UAE and Saudi personal data protection laws, Canada's PIPEDA and Quebec's Law 25 give many people these rights. We give them to everyone, wherever you live. If you're not happy with how we've handled your request, you can also contact your local data protection authority.
Security
The website only works over an encrypted connection, access to enquiries is limited to our team and requires a sign-in, and our forms are rate-limited to prevent abuse.
Children
This website is for businesses. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
